VISR are looking for exceptional software engineers to join our team to develop our VERTX Mixed Reality platform. You’ll work as part of our core engineering team, developing cutting edge features for the platform.

VISR, one of the first Microsoft Mixed Reality Partners in the EMEA region, are a tight-knit team of developers with rich experience developing video games and Mixed Reality solutions. We are constantly pushing boundaries in the industrial application of emerging technologies by drawing influence from our experience with video game development.

Responsibilities:

  • Cooperate with other engineers on how to best utilize the available technology.
  • Perform research to acquire new knowledge necessary to complete required tasks.
  • Diagnose application performance and stability issues, and develop solutions.
  • Accurately estimate schedules and deliver high quality work products to that schedule.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science degree or degree with equivalent programming experience.
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming.
  • Understanding of Mathematics in a spatial context, including (but not limited to) trigonometry, algebra, and working with 3D positions and rotations.
  • Knowledge of code and data optimisation.
  • Experience with debugging.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, experience working with designers, artists and fellow programmers.
  • Familiarity with client-server networking.
  • Familiarity with Version Control software.

Pluses:

  • Experience with C#, JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with Unity, Unreal, or any other 3D Game Engine.
  • Experience with Git or SVN.
  • Self-motivated, and willing to pitch in on many areas of development.
  • Passion for technology, games, and Mixed Reality technologies.
  • Development experience with mobile or embedded devices.
  • Experience with VR or AR development.


Mixed Reality Programmer ( AR / VR )

VISR are looking for exceptional software engineers to join our team to develop Augmented and Virtual Reality solutions. You will work as a part of a team creating proof of concepts for a range of industrial applications. The projects are broken up into 9 week cycles and primarly utilise the Microsoft Hololens. Past projects include work for Audi, AB InBev, Centrica and LearningMate.
